B. M. Younis was born in Egypt, in 1987. He received the B.Sc. degree in electronics and communications engineering from Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt in 2009. He received the M.Sc. degree in Photonics from Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt, in 2015. He received the Ph.D. degree in Nanotechnology and Nanoelectronics Engineering from University of Science and Technology, Zewail City of Science and Technology, Giza, Egypt in February 2020. He is with Electronics and Communications Engineering Department, Misr Higher Institute for Engineering and technology, Mansours, Egypt as a Lecturer. He is with center for photonics and smart materials, Zewail City of science and technology, Giza, Egypt as a Postdoctoral Researcher. His research interests include the area of photonics devices, optoelectronics plasmonic devices, and photonic crystal fibers.
